This 317 gallon (1200Lt) aquarium is privately owned and was originally set up to become a fish with life rock aquarium. Due to several issues (mainly Ich) all life stock died on the present owner which made the decision not to give up but give his sick system to Aquatica Service to turn into a soft coral/ anemone system. After establishing the issues that have brought this aquarium to the state it was in, it was decided to start up all new. Using some of the existing equipment as skimmer and chiller were found sufficient for the new system. Lights, return pump and sump area will be completely renewed and set up correctly. Also 2 reactors to help mechanical filtration will be added. All rock will be removed and given a muratic acid treatment to remove all leaching Phosphates also all gravel will be removed and aquarium will go through a full vinegar cleaning as well as all equipment. Larger return pump and much more flow will be produced installing 2 large wave pumps to make sure sufficient water flow is present in the system.
